Experience virtual learning from the perspective of the student and practice being the teacher in this unique environment. Then easily transition your skills into the studio or classroom.

For BCRPA registration as a Yoga Leader, this module has mandatory prerequisites: Fitness Theory and First Aid/CPR; a practicum series and ICE (see update below) is required after completion of training. Another option is to enroll in the concurrent workshop (no prerequisites) for general interest and/or to enhance a personal yoga practice. A great foundation for a future RYT200 as well.

This program also benefits from a self-study commitment beyond the classroom experience. 

  

The Yoga Fitness 35-hr module provides general knowledge of a focused list of poses within the scope of practice outlined for yoga by the NFLA. It also includes teaching techniques and how to successfully and safely sequence classes with a fitness approach. You will gain knowledge of alignment, options and modifications and props to create a multi-level inclusive class experience.

*Porch pickup (Cloverdale/Surrey or Walnut Grove/Langley). Mail or courier (prepaid by student) is an option as well.
