A single first step towards two valuable yoga teacher certifications:

BCRPA's Yoga Fitness Leader and/or Yoga Alliance's accredited RYT® 200/Registered Yoga Teacher 

Winter:  January 28, 29, February 4, 5, 11 12

Saturdays & Sundays, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Minimum registration:  6; maximum 10.

Spring:  May 6, 7, 13, 14, 27, 28

Summer:  July 10 - 15; intensive week long training; 9:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday

Fall:  September 23, 24, 30, Oct 1, 14, 15

This course provides balanced, general knowledge of a focused list of poses within the scope of practice outlined for yoga by Fitness Leadership Canada (formerly NFLA). It also includes teaching techniques and how to successfully and safely sequence classes from both a fitness and classic approach. Gain knowledge of alignment, modifications and how props benefit a practice. Compose classes and practice teaching sequences to ensure a well designed multi-level inclusive class experience.

Registration includes our comprehensive training manual (printable .pdf), ongoing mentoring and live training (in-person or Zoom)  training with experienced TFL/E-RYT 500 trainers

For Yoga Fitness Leader registration with BCRPA:

Prerequisite (talk with us about options):  current membership ID #, Fitness Theory, First Aid/CPR

Post training: Instructor Competency Evaluation (ICE). Separate fee

Note: there are NO prerequisites if applying solely for the RYT path of training.
