Adding Layers

Layer 1
BEYOND YOGA FITNESS

This workshop will reinforce and expand upon the Yoga Fitness Instructor/RYT Foundation training, including subjects such as teaching methodologies, class composition and a refresher of the foundational poses. Moving forward, we'll breakdown and practice poses expanding upon the warmup, the flows, the strength (standing), balance and stretch/cooldown.

Prerequisite:  

Yoga Fitness Instructor or equivalent yoga teacher training experience

Layer 3
BALANCING CHALLENGE
WITH SUCCESS

After a review we will tackle arm balances and enhanced standing poses, learning how to (a) successfully sequence them into current programs, and (b) when not to include them. Finding alternates/modifications that ensure a successful practice is the primary goal.

Layer 2
DEEPENING THE PRACTICE

After a refresher of prior pose training, focus will be on learning and teaching new poses to create opportunity to students to deepen their personal experience in the classroom.

Layer 4
CONNECTING POSES
WITH INTENTION

With an expanded list of poses, it's easy to think they all need to be part of a practice (personal or professional). Along with the introduction of a final selection of bound poses, the focus will be about having a strong connection, pose their sequencing and their intentions.
