Adding Layers
Layer 1
BEYOND YOGA FITNESS
This workshop will reinforce and expand upon the Yoga Fitness Instructor/RYT Foundation training, including subjects such as teaching methodologies, class composition and a refresher of the foundational poses. Moving forward, we'll breakdown and practice poses expanding upon the warmup, the flows, the strength (standing), balance and stretch/cooldown.

Prerequisite:

Yoga Fitness/RYT Foundations, RYT 200 or equivalent yoga teacher training/experience
Layer 3
BALANCING CHALLENGE
WITH SUCCESS
We will tackle arm balances and enhanced standing poses, learning (a) how to successfully sequence them into current programs, and (b) when (and why) not to include them. Finding alternates/modifications that ensure a successful practice is the primary goal.

Layer 2
DEEPENING THE PRACTICE
After a refresher of prior pose training, focus will be on learning and teaching new poses and perhaps some familiar ones with variations all to create opportunity to deepen a personal experience within the classroom.

CONNECTING POSES
WITH INTENTION
With an expanded list of poses, it's easy to think they all need to be part of a practice (personal or professional). Along with a selection of bound poses, the emphasis will be about having a strong, meaningful and honest connection with poses, their sequencing and their intentions.
