Props Enhance Yoga

The human form comes in many different heights, shapes, proportions and range of motion. Yoga props such as blocks, bolsters and straps, etc. combined with options and modifications, create a more comfortable, accessible practice. With props you can make the pose fit your body, instead of making your body fit the pose.


During our Intro to Props workshop we will look the different styles and types, learn how to select what will work for you or your students. Our follow-up How to Use Props workshop shows how to incorporate props smoothly into a yoga practice or a classroom.

Most GYS training is done in the Walnut Grove community of Langley, BC.  Some private classes and workshops are also offered in Cloverdale (Surrey).  Additionally, we are available for on-site and online training.
