Earn your RYT® 200
Yoga Alliance Professional Credential
February 2024
To accommodate interest in our
YFL
training,
CEC workshops, and community classes, we have temporarily put our RYT 200 program on hold.
Watch for updates
.

We have broken down our RYT program into bite-sized pieces for easier completion. Core curriculum and specialty workshops range from 1 to 35 hours with each repeated from time to time over the next few years.

A total of 180 direct teaching hours plus 20 hours of elective learning combines for the full 200 hours required. (This may change as Yoga Alliance re-introduces their up-levelling Standards).  In order to complete the RYT 200, a Yoga Alliance requirement is that all RYT training must be completed through one Registered Yoga School/RYS®

Utilizing our up-levelled training materials, updated flexible with life friendly schedule for earning Yoga Alliance's internationally recognized Registered Yoga Teacher/RYT® 200 credential, our program begins with our Yoga Fitness Instructor Module*.  Then gain teaching experience and earn training hour credits by attending available GYS CE workshops. Our personalized, small training group size prepares our students to successfully step into their own classrooms with confidence and enhanced skills.

Use our contact form, or send us an email directly including your name and telephone number and we'll get back to you about your yoga journey as quickly as possible.

*The Yoga Fitness Leader Module is a prerequisite for some GYS workshops, but others may be taken in the order that suits your schedule and program availability.

Note to GYS Alumni:

Credits accumulated during prior training with Grove Yoga School (YFL module & CEC workshops) may apply towards the 200 hours of training required for your Yoga Alliance professional yoga teaching credential, RYT 200. Conditions apply.  Ask us for details.
